JOURNAL OF MY DAILY TRAINING TILL THE DAY I COMPETE FOR THE DEAF INTERNATIONAL SHORT COURSE SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Went for a swim at 5 AM this morning with Ford. It was a tough practice. My shoulders got tired and just had nothing left in them. I got out half hr early and I asked my coach how much I did already. He said about 5500 yards and I was like woah that's more than enough. I know I am not young like those highschool swimmers. So I'm glad I got out early and let my body rest. This afternoon I decided to just do strength training and not do the metcon afterwards which I was glad that I made that choice. Sometimes just have to listen to your body and make smart choices. Don't want to overload and hurt yourself. Then you can't make future improvements because of making wrong the choices.
